The largest airshow organized by the Royal Air Force. Waddington is home
to the Royal Air Forces fleet of E-3 Sentry “AWACS” and one Nimrod R1
squadron.
The worlds largest military airshow event with an eight hour flying display
and hundreds of static aircraft. Currently held at the airfield RAF Fairford
in Gloucestershire.
One of only a few Battle Of Britain airshow events. The only front line Air
Defence Station to hold an airshow. Being home to three Squadrons of
Tornado F3 aircraft, the display Tornados are worth watching !
Home of the Royal Air Force Sepecat Jaguar fleet. We paid a visit to take
some pictures of the Jaguar before they are sadly retired from operational
service.
We visited Lechfeld in Germany to report on Elite 2005, one of the biggest
Electronic Warfare Exercises. Some of the participants included, Viggens
Greek F-16s, Turkish f-16s and Italian Tornados.
Waddington in Lincolnshire hosts one of the largest military events in the
United Kingdom. This years show included numerous aircraft of interest
such as Mig-21 Lancers, Greek, Belgian F-16s, Mig-29 and Tornados.
The worlds largest military airshow event, this years flying highlights were
a Finnish F/A-18C Hornet, Dutch F-16AM Fighting Falcon, Mirage 2000C
and a Dutch AH-64D Apache firing flairs!
Russian fever! We visited MAKS 2005 Russia's largest airshow event held
at Zhukovsky. Sit tight and enjoy the sights of displays teams such as, the
Russian Knights, the Swifts and much more!
Before the F-14 Tomcat is retired, we visited Naval Air Station Oceana to
see the beast in action. Plus an F/A-18F Super Hornet display and a F-4
Phantom in the Air Force Historical Fly past!
